Unified Project Environment (UPE)
UPE reduces the paperwork burden of engineering teams while improving delivery quality.
At our core, we are a community of Christians. Our faith is not a private hobby or a set of suggestions; it is the root from which every action grows. We believe that because we are created by God and accountable to Him, our work is an act of worship.
We do not expect every partner or future team member to share our faith, but we do require them to respect the "House Culture" that our faith has built. We operate with a "High-Accountability/High-Grace" model because we believe truth and love are inseparable.
We recognize that our worldview leads to behaviors that may feel counter-cultural or even "uncomfortable" in a standard corporate or pluralistic setting. We choose these paths not because they are easy, but because we believe they are True.
| Because we believe... | We live out... | This may be uncomfortable if... |
|---|---|---|
| Every person is made in the Image of God. | Inherent Dignity | You believe status, title, or nationality determines a person’s value. |
| God sees what is done in secret. | Uncompromising Integrity | You believe "it’s only wrong if you get caught" or that "small" deceptions are okay. |
| We are stewards, not owners. | Radical Excellence | You prefer to do the bare minimum or "clock out" mentally while on the job. |
| Pride is the root of conflict. | Servant Leadership | You seek power for yourself or find it difficult to admit when you are wrong. |
| Truth sets us free. | Radical Candor | You prefer office politics, "saving face" through silence, or passive-aggressiveness. |
| Forgiveness is a mandate. | Restorative Grace | You prefer to hold grudges or "cancel" people instead of seeking reconciliation. |
Because our team spans from Rural New York to China and Africa, we translate our Christian culture across borders through these three commitments:
In some cultures, "cheating the system" is seen as survival. In ours, it is a violation of our identity. Whether you are in an office in New York or working remotely in Nairobi or Beijing, we act as if God is our only supervisor. We do not steal time, we do not inflate reports, and we do not compromise on quality.
We reject any cultural hierarchy that devalues people based on gender or geography. Men and women, Westerners and Non-Westerners, leaders and assistants—we are all "co-heirs." We listen to the quietest voice in the room because wisdom isn't reserved for the highest-paid person.
We are a "Great Commission" people, which means our doors are open to everyone. We welcome the pluralistic society with open arms. We offer our best service to the skeptic, the seeker, and the believer alike. We don't hide who we are, but we never use our faith as a hammer—only as a hearth to keep people warm.
If you resonate with these values—even if you are still exploring the faith behind them—you will find a home here. If you find these standards of honesty and self-sacrifice burdensome, we may not be the right fit for you. We aim to be a light, and light is only useful if it remains distinct.
"Our faith unites us, but our backgrounds enrich us. With team members across the USA, China, and Africa, we celebrate the diverse ways the Kingdom of God is expressed through work and community."
